A security camera recorded the movement of vehicles at the home of the family who has been missing since January 24th in Cachoeirinha, metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. Parents Dalmira and Isail de Aguiar received a call in which the voice claimed to be Silvana, their daughter, saying she had suffered an accident in Gramado, in Serra Gaúcha. After looking for their daughter, the couple returned home and received a new call. According to police, the alleged accident did not happen.
According to neighbors, Dalmira and Isail had tried to file a police report, but the police station was closed. They then left in an unknown car at night. Since then, the family has not been seen again. The case raises an alert about the statistics of missing people in Rio Grande do Sul, which is the third state with the most records in the country.
