Soldiers of the 210th Separate Assault Regiment destroyed a Russian self-propelled artillery unit 2S1 “Gvozdika” and the direction of Zaporizhia.

According to the statement, the target was hit by an FPV drone after a camouflaged firing position was identified. The drone operator carried out the attack with high precision, which resulted in the neutralization of the Russian material.

The identification is based on the system’s design characteristics, such as the low-profile turret and the absence of a prominent recoil mechanism above the barrel – typical features of the model known as “Gvozdika”.

Losses of Russian self-propelled artillery systems on the battlefield remain high. The number of 2S1 “Gvozdika” units destroyed or captured has already exceeded 174. However, this is not the highest number among artillery losses.
