Teyana Taylor has one battle after another when it comes to her schedule.
After all, while the One Battle After Another star attended the 2026 Golden Globes to, hopefully, win in the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture category, she still has some homework to finish for her culinary classes.
Luckily, Teyana—who announced her enrollment at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in July—will have some time after the 83rd annual ceremony hosted by Nikki Glaser, thanks to her instructors. (See all the winners here.)
“My deadline is on Tuesday,” she exclusively shared on LIVE from E!: Golden Globes. “I gotta have my meals by Tuesday. I spoke to my chef yesterday, and he’s giving me an extension so I can turn my assignment in on Thursday. My school has been very, very supportive of me.”
Although Teyana emphasized that she usually completes her work early, with the Golden Globes coming on the heels of the 2026 Critics Choice Awards—in which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress—it, understandably, fell to the wayside.
