Kawasaki has introduced the Stockman, a new motorcycle developed specifically for rural activities such as cattle ranching in Australia and New Zealand. The model is part of the brand’s program for 2026 with a focus on robustness, mechanical simplicity and practical daily use in terrain.

The Stockman is equipped with an air-cooled, single-cylinder 233 cc engine with electronic fuel injection that produces 14 kW (18.7 hp) at 7,600 rpm and 14.7 lb-ft of torque at 6,100 rpm. The engine is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox that prioritizes control at low speeds and on uneven surfaces.

Despite its work focus, the model contains solutions for professional use. Among the highlights is a locking system for the clutch lever, which makes it possible to keep the motorcycle in gear without having to constantly operate the lever. The Stockman is also supplied as standard with aluminum hand guards, luggage carrier and engine guard – equipment designed for use in areas with fences, branches and natural obstacles.

The front suspension consists of conventional 37 mm telescopic forks, while the rear suspension uses a monoshock with adjustable spring preload. The wheels measure 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, and there are disc brakes on both axles. Suspension travel is 158 mm at the front and 168 mm at the rear.
