Analysts’ projection showed an increase in 2026, according to data released in the Central Bank’s Focus Report this Monday (5).
The expectation for official inflation in 2025 fell to 4.31%. That of 2026 rose to 4.06%. The IPCA 2027 Projection was 3.80%. And that of 2028 remained at 3.50%.
The GDP projection in 2025 was 2.26%. Those for 2026 and 2027 remain at 1.80%. And that of 2028 continued at 2.00%.
In Selic, the projection for 2026 was 12.25%. That of 2027 remains at 10.50%. And that of 2028 remains at 9.75%.
