China reportedly hacked emails of US congressional aides

According to the report, the group, nicknamed Salt Typhoon, accessed email systems used by some advisors on the House committee on China, as well as assistants on panels responsible for topics such as foreign relations, intelligence and the armed forces. The FT did not say which specific advisors were targeted in the action.
