This Monday (13), the Central Bank’s new modality, Pix Automatic, comes into force with the aim of facilitating recurring payments, such as electricity bills, water, gas, monthly payments and other regular commitments.
The new tool includes permission for the user to authorize, in advance, the automatic payment of these debts directly through the financial institution’s application or internet banking. The customer can also set a maximum value for each transaction, ensuring more control over spending.
This innovation appears as a practical and modern alternative to traditional automatic debits from current accounts or payments via credit card. The objective is to offer more agility, security and autonomy to users.
In the case of legal entities, companies interested in subscribing to Pix Automático must contact the account manager or appear in person at the bank branch to activate the service.
