The case of André Cunha, sentenced to 18 years in prison for international human trafficking and criminal association, brought hope to victims. Before being arrested, André was also recruited to work in Thailand, but ended up in Myanmar. There, he made an agreement with the Chinese criminal organization to entice other Brazilians in exchange for money.
