China officially displayed the production of its new fifth-generation boarded fighter, the J-35, designed to equip the popular liberation army navy holders.

The images released by the state station CCTV They show the assembly aircraft at Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC), still without the final painting and the stealing coating. The model, which should go into service in 2025, already performs flight tests from the Fujian aircraft carrier, with other units at different stages of production.

Derived from the FC-31 project, the J-35 features a stealth design with two inclined double engines and tails, reminiscent of the American F-35. The first prototype flew by 2021 with WS-21 (H) engines developed in China. Since then, satellite images have revealed that fighter has been tested in the Fujian and Liaon aircraft carrier, demonstrating the technological advance of Chinese naval aviation and the strengthening of its sea combat capacity.

Equipped with AESA radar, Mira Optical System and internal armament stalls, the J-35 is considered the second new generation boarded hunt in the world, behind only the American F-35. Although the total number of planned units has not been disclosed, estimates indicate production greater than 100 aircraft, with possible export versions.

The program adds to the development of the Type 004 nuclear aircraft carrier, which, with up to 120,000 tons, promises to consolidate China as a global naval power.
