It looks like Nicole Kidman hoped she and Keith Urban could get back to being the perfect couple.
Shortly after confirming the Oscar winner and country singer broke up following 20 years together, E! News learned that the pair’s decision to separate was one-sided.
Indeed, E! learned that Nicole did not want to part ways with Keith and has been trying to save the marriage since they opted to live apart in the beginning of the summer.
And those aren’t the only details that have been revealed about the duo’s breakup. E! also learned that, amid their separation, Nicole has been taking care of their daughters Sunday Rose17, and Faith Margaret14, in their shared Nashville home, while Keith resides in a separate residence in the same city. He’s currently on tour and will next perform in Hershey, Pa., on Oct. 2.
E! reached out to reps of Nicole and Keith for comment.
Three months before news of their breakup was made public, Nicole, 58, celebrated 19 years of marriage with Keith, 57, whom she tied the knot with in 2006 following one year of dating.
Alongside a photo of her cozied up with the “Somebody Like You” singer with his guitar on his lap, she captioned a June 25 Instagram post“Happy Anniversary Baby.”
