British Superbike star Callum Grigor, 27, is in an induced coma after suffering a serious crash on Saturday (September 6) during the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race at Donington Park circuit in England.
The rider, from Wishaw, Scotland, crashed on the opening lap while approaching Goddards corner and collided with the bike of Manx competitor Nathan Harrison.

According to the official statement from British Superbike (BSB), the race was immediately red-flagged, and both riders received medical attention at the scene.
“Callum Grigor was found to be in a serious condition and required immediate intervention at the track, including being placed in an induced coma. He was transported to Queen’s Medical Center in Nottingham for evaluation and specialized care,” the organization reported.
Nathan Harrison sustained an isolated injury to one limb and was also taken to hospital.
On social media, fans and fellow riders shared messages of support for Grigor, who is regarded as one of the rising talents in British motorcycle racing.
The Scotsman’s condition is classified as “serious,” and further updates are expected from the championship organizers in the coming days.
