British superbike star Caram Grigor (27) is currently in an artificial coma due to a serious accident that occurred on Saturday, September 6th during the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race at the Donington Park Circuit in England.
The Whishaw native, Scotland, fell before Godders’ corner on the opening lap and collided with the bike of Isle of Man rider Nathan Harrison.

According to an official British Superbike (BSB) statement, the race was immediately suspended with a red flag, with both riders undergoing medical team treatment on-site.
“Caram Grigor was found in critical condition and immediate treatment, including an artificial coma, was required on the course. He was taken to Queen’s Medical Center in Nottingham, where he is being evaluated and specialized treatment,” the organizers announced.
Nathan Harrison suffered a trauma to a part of his limb and was also taken to the hospital.
On social media, many messages of support have been sent from fans and fellow riders to Grigor, who is considered a promising stake in the UK’s motorsports world.
The Scottish rider is in “critical condition” and additional announcements will be made by the tournament organizers in the coming days.
