The United States suspended the approval of visas for almost everyone who has a Palestinian passport. The information was released by The New York Times.
The restrictions go beyond those previously announced by the government of President Donald Trump for visitors from the Gaza Strip. They would prevent Palestinians from traveling to the United States for medical treatment, college and business travel.
The State Department reported two weeks ago that it was conducting a “complete and thorough” review, a measure condemned by pro-Palestinian groups.
