An attack from Israel in Gaza on Saturday (30) killed the spokesman for Hamas and other seventeen people. The information from the death of Hudayfa Samir Abdallah al-Kahlout was confirmed on Sunday by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
Known as Abu Obeida, he was the spokesman for Hamas’s armed arm, and announced the group’s operations and statements. Earlier, during a government meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had stated that Abu Ubaida had been the target of a joint operation performed by the Armed Forces and Israel’s Internal Intelligence Service.
