Ukraine received the eighth medium-range air defense system, the IRIS-T SLM, from Germany. This will be the second grant in 2025.

According to the project, the typical system to be handed over to Ukraine is as follows:

- Reloaded vehicle
- Mobile spare parts warehouse
- Mobile repair shop
Each system has a range of up to 40km under ideal conditions and is highly effective against drones, cruise missiles, enemy aircraft, and more at altitudes of 20km.
