This Friday (29), the Attorney General’s Office announced that it is against the police to be at Bolsonaro’s house. The former president has been under house arrest since August 4.
After the suggestion presented by the director of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, the PGR spoke. Paulo Gonet, Attorney General of the Republic, said there is no evidence of a serious security situation within the residence.
Nevertheless, Gonet pointed out that it is appropriate to reinforce surveillance in the outside areas. According to him, it is justifiable to adopt precautionary measures nearby, including the street where the house is located and even access to the condominium.
The final decision will be of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, who will analyze the request of both bodies.
