Jair Bolsonaro’s defense has asked the Supreme Court (STF) Minister Alexandre de Moraes that six PL leaders are allowed to freely visit the former president, without the need for prior judicial authorization.
The request includes Senator Rogério Marinho, the deputy mayor Altineu Côrtes, the national president of PL Valdemar Costa Neto, Federal Representative Carol de Toni, PL leader in the House, Cavalcante Sostenes, and PL state president Bruno Scheid.
Bolsonaro has been in house arrest since August 4 at his residence in the Botanical Garden in Brasilia. The defense request must be analyzed by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, who will decide on the release of the visits.
