The Justice of São Paulo ordered the breach of the confidentiality of 233 profiles that used social networks to accuse Youtuber Felipe Bressanim Pereira, known as Felca, of pedophilia and harassment. These publications emerged as he researched material for Video Adultization, published on August 6 on his YouTube channel.
The video has already surpassed 39 million views and reveals influencers who explore children and adolescents in exchange for monetization. In addition, it displays posts of smaller smallerly and consuming alcoholic beverages at parties. Therefore, some users accused Felca of consuming and endorsing this type of content, which motivated the lawsuit.
Last Tuesday, 12, Judge Flavia Poyares Miranda signed the decision. She considered that Youtuber was the victim of injury and that the curses, including the anonymous, violated the Civil Marco of the Internet. Thus, the magistrate authorized data collection to identify those responsible.
For this, she requested that X and Youtube provide registration data, IP addresses and access records. In addition, it determined that the offensive profiles be removed. If companies do not comply, they can receive a fine of $ 200 per day, up to 30 days.
Felca explains actions and proposes a video agreement agreement
Felca filed a lawsuit against more than 200 profiles that falsely accused him of pedophilia. He explained in the denunciation video himself that he followed the profiles only to collect material for the content. However, some publications claimed that he enjoyed and endorsed the contents. However, he denied these accusations and stressed that the intention was only to produce the denunciation video.
According to Youtuber, these posts configure defamation. One of the authors deleted the account in X after notification. In addition, Felca pointed out that online defamation can hinder anyone’s reputation quickly.
Lawyer João de Senzi published the full list of processed accounts. Also, Felca proposed an agreement to remove the process by donating R $ 250 to child protection institutions and a public apology. To date, more than 80 people have accepted the proposal.
Felca also stated that the vulgarization of the word pedophilia benefits only the pedophiles themselves. Therefore, he decided to judicialize the case and warn about the risks of defamation on the internet.
