In response to a request from the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Innovations of the Republic of Bashkostan, the mechanical engineering company “Vityoz”-a member of the Uralvagonzavod group of the Russian state corporation Rostec-performed the modernization of Kamaz and Ural fuel tank trucks, intended for the Russian Federation National Guard troops.

The work included the installation of drones and shrapnel protection, using steel plates, chains and screens. The modifications gave the vehicles a look that resembles the armored trucks of the movie Mad Max, combining defensive reinforcement with intimidating visual impact.

Personalized modernization for the “Bashkostastan” regiment

In addition to tanker trucks, the regiment received a VAZ-2104 adapted to combat needs. The vehicle was delivered by volunteers and modified according to the demands of the combatants themselves, aiming at greater efficiency in operations on the ground.
