An unusual incident involving an F-15D Eagle fighter from the United States National Guard Air Force drew attention on social networks this week. According to videos published online, the aircraft’s co -pilot was allegedly accidentally ejected while the jet was still on the ground at Westfield Air Base in Massachusetts.

The exact date of the event has not yet been confirmed. According to reports, the official in the F-15D rear seat-belonging to the 104th hunting wing-would have triggered the ejection system in an unintentional way. In the images that circulate on the internet, you can see a cloud of smoke over the rear cab while the fighter moves on the track.

The cabin lid, thrown backwards during the ejection, eventually landed on the left wing of the jet. Then the co -pilot is seen crawling near the fighter, next to what seems to be his parachute.

It is still unclear whether the incident occurred shortly after landing or before takeoff. Authorities did not disclose the military’s state of health or details about the ongoing investigation.
