A man became viral after revealing a strategy that is often used by dealers to exhaust you while trying to buy a new car.
Zach Let out a video on Tiktok to tell that he went to a dealer to buy a new pickup truck last weekend. After a while of conversation with the seller, he suddenly disappeared.
“Is there anyone else who has been out to buy a pickup truck, and the seller just left for 30 minutes? And you think, ‘Hey, I just want to buy a truck. Sell me a truck. What’s the problem?’,” He asked his followers.
Although it may seem backtuitive to a seller to let a customer wait a long time, some believe this is actually a sales technique.
“How to exhaust you. Tell them that they will not waste your time and start going away. They will start moving faster,” a user wrote in the comments section.

This “waiting game” happens when the sales team pulls things out for so long that they hope the buyer runs out of time or becomes so exhausted that they accept something they would otherwise not have agreed to.
