The White House began a public campaign on Tuesday (12), for US President Donald Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
In a post on social network X, the government stated that “the world calls” so that Trump is the winner of the award.
The publication also cited authorities who have already advocated the nomination, such as Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
In the photo caption, the White House highlighted Trump as the “President of Peace.” This initiative occurs amid international discussions about the US role in conflict mediation.
With the campaign, the government seeks to expand the political backing to Trump and increase pressure on the Nobel Committee.
