In cooperation with the Estonian company Milrem Robotics, the Ukrainian company has successfully integrated the 40 mm MK-19-automatic grenade throwing tower Buria on the chain-driven floor-based drone system Themis.
The platform showed precision and stability in tests in Ukraine and met targets over 1.1 km away.
The Buria system has been in series production since January 2025 and has been integrated into fighting support units by a special training program. The aim is to expand the use in active missions and to adapt the system for various tasks on the battlefield. Further tests are planned to evaluate the performance in different scenarios.
According to Frontline, integration is not only a technical progress, but also a successful example of the cooperation between Ukrainian and European manufacturers of military technology. The tower enables more efficient target adjustments than a conventional tripod, can target several goals within a few seconds and is operated remotely by simply marking a point on the map or entering coordinates to fire.
