The Federal District Public Prosecution Service wants Flamengo player Bruno Henrique to become a defendant for estelionate crime. In the current appeal, prosecutors ask the court to also accept the prosecution and the request for imposition of precautionary measures.
Prosecutors also request that the request to impose a bail of R $ 2 million to the player and that all investigated are prevented from performing activities of an economic or financial nature related to sports bets.
In July, the player became a defendant for being involved with sports betting schemes. In addition to him, his brother, Wander Lima Pinto Júnior, is also involved in the case. If they are convicted, the penalty may reach six years in prison.
Bruno Henrique was denounced for sports fraud on July 16, almost a month ago.
The Public Prosecution Service of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT) requested, in addition to the revision of the decision related to the crime of estelionato, the setting of a bail of R $ 2 million for Bruno Henrique. The goal is to ensure that it does not interfere with investigations and attend if it is called for new testimonials.
