After all, the Thor star put down his Mjölnir to celebrate his 42nd birthday on the water in Ibiza, Spain, alongside his loved ones.
Chris spent Aug. 10—the day before his actual birthday—with his younger brother Liam Hemswortholder brother Luke Hemsworthas well as close pals Tanks and his wife Rita Oraand Matt Damon and his wife LUCIANA BARROSO.
After eating lunch at Casa Jondal on Ibiza’s southern coast, the group soaked in the sun on a yacht cruising through the Balearic Sea.
For the occasion, Chris, Liam and Taika kept it simple with white T-shirts and shorts, Matt opted for a blue polo shirt and gray pants, while Rita was down to show off a polka-dot bikini with a matching headband.
One day after the party, Liam, 35, posted a selfie with Luke44, and a shirtless Chris on the yacht with his sweet birthday message.
