The Corregedoria of the Chamber of Deputies will be responsible for deliberating on the possible punishments against the opposition parliamentarians who occupied the Board of Directors last week and who are target of actions within the House of Representatives. The whole process comprises 14 parliamentarians.
According to the information that circulates behind the scenes, President Hugo Motta’s intention is to impose a pedagogical punishment, and that cannot be used as a party issue, so deputies of various parties were reported. In this sense, Motta decided to abide by all demonstrations filed with the presidency.
Also among the interlocutors it is said that the decision of the president of the house was necessary so that he would not be demoralized, and only five deputies must be really investigated for kidnapping the House’s agenda.
