Kawasaki launches in Japan the new Ninja ZX-25R SE and RR with 4-cylinder engine and updated design

Kawasaki has officially presented the 2025 versions of his small sports motorcycle Ninja ZX-25R in Japan, now available in the SER and RR variants. Both versions are equipped with a 250cc row -fired engine – the only one in its category – as well as mechanical, aesthetic and technological updates.

The engine has lost some effect

The new ZX-25R 2025 has been adjusted the performance:
Maximum power has been changed from 35 kW (48 hp) at 15,500 rpm to 34 kW (46 hp) at 16,000 rpm

The torque fell from 22 Nm to 21 Nm, both at 12,500 rpm

According to Kawasaki, the official consumption is 25.1 km/l at constant 60 km/h and 18.1 km/li WMTC cycle.

The ZX-25RR version is equipped with a Showa BFRC-Lite rear damper, the same type used in the brand’s high-performance models. It also gets exclusive graphic details with “RR” logo and a transparent windshield. The SE version has a more traditional look, but with first-class finish and TFT digital display.

Both models support the Rideology The App Motorcycle, which allows voice control and navigation via smartphone. When purchasing, the customer gets a QR code that provides free access to the app’s features for 1 year.
