Iran’s Islamic regime executed a man identified as Rozbeh Vadi on Wednesday who was accused by the Islamic authorities of acting as a spy of the Israeli secret service Mossad and to pass on sensitive information about the Iranian nuclear program to Israel. The execution, performed by hanging, occurred after the confirmation of the sentence by the Iranian Supreme Court, as reported by the state site Mizan Online.

According to the information that was made available, the process that was underway against the man included the analysis of evidence presented by the defendant’s prosecution and confessions, which recognized that he collaborated in a “deliberate with Israeli agents”.

According to the official report, Rozbeh Vadi, who is Iranian, worked in an organization considered strategic in the country, which caught the attention of the Mossad, since, due to his post, he had the ability to access confidential information. The Islamic investigation said the man was reportedly recruited through virtual contacts, undergoing evaluations and training under the guidance of agents identified by the codenames “Alex” and “Kevin.” From this cooperation, Vadi began to receive monthly cryptocurrency payments, in exchange for the transmission of data classified on the Iranian nuclear program.

The text of the sentence, released by the state site, details the security procedures required by the Mossad, including face -to -face meetings with Israeli agents in Vienna, Austria, where Vadi underwent rigorous physical inspections and place changes to avoid detection.

After receiving technical training and equipment for safe communication, Vadi was tasked with collecting and sending weekly reports on “organizational developments and affordable intelligence”, as well as responding to Israeli’s technical demands. Also according to the case file, there was an attempt from the accused of negotiating the sending of the data in installments, but his contact at Mossad refused and ordered the full sending of the information.

Iranian authorities say the transmitted information included details about one of the country’s nuclear scientists in the country that was eliminated during Israeli attacks. Rozbeh Vadi was arrested in Tehran after the Iranian authorities intensify surveillance over him, especially after one of his trips abroad, which raised suspicions and resulted in his detention.
