Man who sat in the chair of Alexandre de Moraes is convicted

The first class of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) made a majority of votes for the conviction of Fábio Alexandre de Oliveira to 17 years in prison for participation in acts of January 8, 2023.

During the depredation, the defendant sat in the chair of Minister Alexandre de Moraes and recorded a video with offenses. In addition, according to the prosecution, he wore gloves to make it difficult to identify typoscopic and a gas protection mask.

The trial score is 3 votes to 0 for the conviction, but the penalty has not yet been defined. Moraes, rapporteur of the case, and Minister Flávio Dino applied 17 years in prison. Cristiano Zanin voted in favor of the conviction for 15 years. The votes of ministers Cármen Lúcia and Luiz Fux are also left.
