Former American president Joe Biden criticized Donald Trump during a gala event in Chicago, referring to him as “this guy”, and asking participants to defend justice and the constitution.
The Democrat said that the United States live “dark days,” and that the country is under government pressure, adding that law firms are “giving in to bullies rather than remaining faithful to justice.”
Joe Biden gave up last year’s presidential race after a bad performance in a presidential debate with Trump, paving the way for vice president Kamala Harris to compete and finally lose to the Republican.
When Biden left the White House, its presidential approval rate was among the worst recorded since the end of World War II, below 40%.
