With emojis, Musk celebrates US sanctions against Moraes

American businessman of South African origin Elon Musk, owner of the X, celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (30) the sanctions that Donald Trump government imposed the Minister of the Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes, based on magnitsky law, which aims to violate human rights and corruption.

Musk, who last year starred in a dispute with Moraes, responded to a post by the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who spoke of sanctions.

The businessman typed two emojis, one of one arm in an armor, suggesting strength, and another representing fire, suggesting that he was excited about the escalation in the measures against the STF minister.

Last year, the X was blocked for 38 days in Brazil due to a decision by Moraes, which claimed refusal from the company to appoint a legal representative in the country. Musk said he considered illegal Moraes orders to overthrow profiles and content on the social network and had been refusing to fulfill them.

“This guy, Alexandre de Moraes, is a declared criminal of the worst kind, disguised as a judge,” wrote Musk on X.

“Tyran Alexandre de Moraes is the dictator of Brazil. Lula is his pet puppy,” he said in another post. Ox was reactivated in Brazil after Musk retreated and appointed a legal representative of the platform in the country.
