On Tuesday (29) the deadline for Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid ends to submit his final allegations to the Supreme Federal Court (STF) in the process investigating the attempted coup.
The document brings together the summary of the accusations and the position of the defense of the military, which is one of the main investigated in the case. According to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), Cid, former President Jair Bolsonaro and six other defendants make up the so-called “crucial core” of a criminal organization that acted to promote democratic rupture in the country.
After the end of Mauro Cid’s deadline, the counting of another 15 days for the other defendants, including former President Bolsonaro, also submit their final allegations.
The phase is decisive for the progress of the trial, which can lead to the opening of criminal actions against those involved.
