Moscow troops launched 235 drones and 27 missiles, damaging residential and commercial buildings and causing fires, the Ukrainian Air Force said. In a statement, the Air Force reported that 10 missiles and 25 attack drones have reached nine locations. According to the note, the rest of the drones and missiles was shot down. “A terrible night. A massive mass attack on the region,” said Serhiy Lysak, regional governor of Dnipropetrovsk, in the Telegram app. He said three people died in the attacks and six others were injured in the city of Dnipro and the neighboring region. Lysak published photos showing firefighters fighting fires, a residential building with broken windows and carbonized cars. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy promised retaliatory attacks. “Russian military companies, Russian logistics and Russian airports should feel that Russia’s own war is now reaching them with real consequences,” Zelenskiy said in the Telegram app. Ukraine attacks on Russia have intensified in recent months, with Moscow and Kiev exchanging drone swarms and fierce fighting. Authorities from both countries met on Wednesday (23) for a new round of negotiations. However, the two countries indicate that they are still far from moving to a ceasefire.
