Whitney Leavitt is not returning to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
The 32-year-old OG star of the Hulu series revealed she would not be back on the television show during her final performance in Chicago on Broadway on Sunday evening (May 3), which THR has confirmed.
Whitney was one of the MomTok members featured on the reality show, but famously seemingly left, before coming back in season three for one reason – to get cast on Dancing With the Stars.
Following her stint on DWTS, where she was partnered with Mark Ballas and made it to the semifinals, she was then cast as Roxie Hart in Chicago. For the past month of her extended run in the musical, she was joined by Mark, where they starred together as he played Billy Flynn.
Whitney has been quite vocal about her aspirations for becoming an actress, and is even set to star in an upcoming holiday rom-com, which she found out she booked during filming season four of Mormon Wives.
After filming on season five of Mormon Wives paused in March amid Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen‘s allegations and legal woes, Whitney hinted at her exit from the reality series.
While a resume date has not been set yet, the show is set to begin filming again soon.
As Whitney‘s time on Broadway has come to an end, for now, she’s not leaving New York City as her husband Conner Leavitt has joined the cast of an off-Broadway show!
