Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour were among the celebs who met up with Queen Camilla for a reading event during the royal’s visit to New York City.
The Sex and the City actress and the former Vogue editor-in-chief were both seen meeting up with the Queen while attending a literacy event at the New York Public Library on Wednesday afternoon (April 29).
Amid King Charles‘ first visit to the U.S. since becoming the British monarch, he and Camilla decided to split up on Wednesday to attend separate events in New York. She stopped by the library as part of her work with her charity, The Queen’s Reading Room.
This wasn’t SJP’s first time meeting Queen Camilla!
Sarah Jessica previously met Camilla back in November while attending a reception at Clarence House in London.
“Every time you shine a spotlight on reading and the relationship between a reader and a book and how it changes lives and enriches lives and cultivates empathy and curiosity, I’m so grateful. And for Her Majesty, it means a great deal,” SJP told People at the New York event.
One night earlier, the royals were in Washington, D.C. and attended a state dinner with the Trumps at the White House.
