Iran abandons FIFA congress in Canada after immigration problems

Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that members of the delegation, including federation president Mehdi Taj, secretary-general Hedayat Mombeini and his deputy Hamed Momeni, were denied entry to the country upon arrival despite holding valid visas.alleging what he described as “inappropriate behavior on the part of immigration authorities.”
