Israel sentences two soldiers to 30-day detention for destroying statue of Jesus in Lebanon

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said he was “shocked and saddened” by what happened and called, on Monday (20), for speed in determining responsibilities. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar apologized “for this incident and to all Christians who felt offended.”
