Taylor Swift‘s music is heading to American Idol next week!
The Top 7 contestants will perform Taylor’s hits on the live April 27 episode, host Ryan Seacrest announced during the episode on Monday (April 20).
ABC also just announced, “The Top 7 celebrate Taylor Swift’s chart-topping hits and defining eras as America votes live to reveal the Top 5.”
Ryan promised that the music will span her early country songs to her pop hits from recent years. It doesn’t sound like Taylor herself will appear on the episode though.
Taylor’s music already had a big moment this season when contestant Bryant Thomas performed her song “Champagne Problems” during his Hollywood Week audition. While he made it to the Top 30, he’s no longer competing on the show this season.
Check out the Top 9 contestants who are currently competing on the show.
You can catch the next episode on Monday, April 27 at 8/7c on ABC and next on Disney+ and Hulu.
It was recently announced that Taylor received a bunch of nominations at the American Music Awards and she has more nods than any other artist this year.
