My 600-Lb. Life Star Dolly Martinez’s Cause of Death Revealed
More details surrounding Dolly Martinez’s death are coming to light.
Two days after the My 600-Lb. Life star’s family confirmed her death at the age of 30, her mom Staci Thurman told TMZ April 13 that her daughter died of congestive heart failure.
Dolly had been sick for some time, her mom told the outlet, and was admitted to a Fort Worth hospital on March 29 with fluid on her heart and lungs. Once admitted, she was put into a medically induced coma and put on a ventilator but never woke up.
Dolly’s half-sister Lindsey Cooperwhom Staci described as Dolly’s best friend, shared the news of the reality TV alum’s death in a touching tribute.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beautiful sister, Dolly,” Lindsey wrote on Facebook April 11. “Dolly had the brightest personality. She could light up any room with her laughter, her kindness, and her loving spirit. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her warmth will stay with us forever.”
