Argentine Congress approves Glacier Law and expands mining

In an official statement, the President of Argentina celebrated the approval of the Minimum Budget Law for the Preservation of Glaciers and the Periglacial Environment. In the text, Milei says that the law will allow the protection of glaciers and the exploration of minerals in areas that ‘were incorrectly classified as glaciers and that were not part of the object protected by the law’.
