The official balance indicates that at least 64 people died in the offensive. Among the dead, the institution confirmed the presence of 13 children, as well as a doctor, two nurses and several patients. In addition to the fatalities, the attack left 89 people injured. According to the WHO director, eight of those injured were health professionals who worked in the unit at the time of the explosion.
