The accident happened when passengers were waiting on the platform to board. The child was rescued with serious injuries and taken to a hospital, but did not survive. Among the injured are a 44-year-old man, his 6-year-old daughter, a 39-year-old woman and a 13-year-old teenager. All were treated at a local hospital.
