The Council of Europe, guardian of human rights and democracy on the continent, indicated this Tuesday (31) that it may withdraw Israel’s observer status in the council’s Parliamentary Assembly (APCE). The president of APCE, Petra Bayr, stated that the institution “rejects the death penalty anywhere and under any circumstances”
