France did not allow military planes to fly over

by Syndicated News

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Tuesday (31) that the French government did not authorize American planes carrying military supplies to Israel to transit through French airspace.

“France did not allow planes loaded with military supplies headed for Israel to fly over French territory. France was no help whatsoever regarding the ‘Butcher of Iran’ who was successfully eliminated! The US will remember this!” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network. The Macron government has not yet commented on the matter.

The “Butcher of Iran” mentioned by the American president is probably the former supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, killed on February 28, on the first day of the Israeli and US war against the Iranian regime. He was replaced by his son, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Trump has criticized NATO allies for not having helped so far to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a passage that was almost completely closed by Iran after the start of the conflict and through which around 20% of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) passed before the war.

In addition to France, the Italian government denied permission for US military aircraft to land at the Sigonella air base in Sicily before heading to the Middle East for the war against Iran, and Spain did not authorize the use of the Rota and Morón bases or the use of their airspace for operations related to the conflict.
