According to Ukraine’s SBS, an operation coordinated by the new Deep Strike Center hit launchers, air defense, fuel depots, electronic warfare structures and communication nodes in Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia.

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, known as SBS, said it had carried out a new series of attacks against Russian targets in temporarily occupied territories, focusing on air defense systems, logistics depots, communications infrastructure and military support points.

According to the SBS commander, Robert “Hungarian” Brovdi, the operation was conducted by different units specialized in warfare with drones and other unmanned means, under the coordination of the recently created Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

According to the report released by Ukrainian sources, one of the main targets was Donetsk airport, where mobile launch platforms associated with Shahed-type drones were reportedly located and destroyed during the night of March 28. The action was assigned to the 1st squadron of the SBS.

The Ukrainian command also claimed to have hit two Tor family air defense systems in different sectors of the front.

In the occupied region of Luhansk, pilots from the 9th Kairos battalion, from the 414th SBS unit, reportedly destroyed a system Tor-M2. Already in the occupied region of Zaporizhzhia, the 413th Raid squadron would have shot down and hit a system Gate-M1.

In addition to anti-aircraft defense, the operation targeted the Russian logistics rear. In occupied areas of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, units of the Kairos battalion reported the destruction of an electronic countermeasures warehouse, explosives and a workshop linked to electronic warfare.

Near Aidar, also in the Luhansk region, another attack reportedly hit a military fuel depot.

In Mangush, in the Donetsk region, the 1st squadron of the SBS reportedly destroyed a fuel warehouse and a supply point, as well as towers and communication nodes used by Russian forces.

According to the Ukrainians, these targets were considered important to sustain coordination and logistical flow in the occupied areas.

The released report also mentions the destruction of a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery piece during search missions for Russian air defense systems. The 122 mm caliber system continues to be widely used in indirect fire support on the battlefield.

The offensive reported by SBS reinforces the Ukrainian strategy of using drones to attack high-value targets beyond the line of contact, especially air defense, logistics, electronic warfare and communications assets. To date, there has been no independent confirmation on the extent of the damage reported by Ukrainian authorities.
