“There was applause, shouts of excitement, and a lot of people came up to us and said, ‘Only you two would think of doing something this crazy,’” said Ng. “My mother fought with me for not telling her, but in a funny way.”
The couple met in Malaysia 10 years ago and began dating long-distance a year later, with Ng studying in the UK and Cheh in Malaysia. They got engaged in 2024 and moved to Australia in 2205 after their wedding.
