Twisted Automotivea British company specializing in vehicle customization, has presented a bold version of the first generation of Range Roverequipped with a 500 horsepower V8 engine.
The Twisted interpretation of a Range Rover Classic (TRRC) is a restomod of the classic Range Rover from the 1970s, but under the hood of this discreet-looking vehicle lies a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine — the same as the Chevrolet Corvette — capable of delivering 500 hp.

To handle this power, the vehicle has received several modifications, including updated suspension, bushings and differentials, while the braking system adopts six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear. The set-up favors comfort and balance, maintaining the spirit of Range Rover original without resorting to excessive rigidity.
From an aesthetic point of view, the TRRC it’s a sort of “Frankenstein” composed of elements from different eras of Range Rover classic. The front bumper comes from the 1970s model, while the grille and headlights are inspired by the 1990s versions.

Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned. The seats, positioned lower than the original, are now covered in leather. The front seats are heated and the cabin also features an eight-channel audio system and a compact infotainment system.

Each example is assembled by hand and subjected to an extensive testing program before being delivered to customers. The starting price of the TRRC is £350,000 and production will be limited to just 12 units per year.
Interested? You’ll have to try again next year: all the production of the TRRC Of Twisted it is already sold out for this year.
