An operation by the State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic) resulted in the seizure of 14 luxury vehicles last Tuesday (24), in São Paulo, Brazil.
The vehicles were seized by authorities during the execution of search and seizure warrants at residential and commercial properties linked to those being investigated.
Among the models seized are: a Dodge Challenger SRT8one Mercedes-AMG GTone Lamborghini Aventadorone Ferrari 488 Pistaone Ferrari 458 Italia and one Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
According to information from the g1the action aims to clarify a scam suffered last year by a product import company.
The investigation indicates that the suspects had carried out small transactions with the company to facilitate larger import negotiations. However, the payment for this operation would have been made through fraud.

In addition to the vehicles, police seized R$55 million, US$10,000 and €18,000 in cash. Luxury watches, jewelry, bags, three cell phones and computers, as well as two weapons, were also collected.
