US jury: Meta will pay US$375 million in child exploitation lawsuit

Internal documents, according to the state, acknowledged problems with sexual exploitation and harm to mental health. Even so, the lawsuit says, the company did not implement basic security tools, such as age verification, and continued to claim that the platforms were safe.
