Kim Jong-un says North Korea’s nuclear status is ‘irreversible’

The speech comes amid the presentation of a new five-year economic plan, which should go hand in hand with the expansion of the country’s nuclear program. According to the state agency KCNA, the regime intends to strengthen its deterrence capacity, while at the same time increasing investments in the economy and the living conditions of the population.
